What is Scoutabout?
Scoutabout is a monumental event held every three years, bringing together over 6,000 Scouts and Guides aged 10-14 from across Surrey for a weekend packed with fun and learning. From the 28th-30th June 2024, the South East England Showground in Ardingly became a hub of activity, offering everything from caving and canoeing to archery and crafts. The event even featured a dedicated FM radio station, broadcasting live as 87.9 Scoutabout FM.
How Comms365 assisted the event
This year the main stage had a massive social media wall that displayed live content from various social media networks, important messages related to health and safety, as well as live photo/video content from within the arena. The venue Wi-Fi didn’t provide a reliable connection at the stage, so we provided the XR-5G-241 5G Router which made their social media wall possible.
